Educational Background:

I received my B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. I completed an APA-approved pre-doctoral internship at the University of Southern California and a post-doctoral fellowship at U.C. Berkeley.

Work Experience and Clinical Training:

In addition to providing individual therapy, I facilitate Pathways: A Support Group for Postpartum Moms and present regularly on “Postpartum Expectations and the Realities of New Parents” as part of MarinHealth’s Pregnancy and Childbirth programs and services. I also supervise counseling interns at Dominican University of California - Counseling Services. Prior to opening a private practice, I was a staff psychologist at Sonoma State University - Counseling and Psychological Services, where I provided individual, couples, and group therapy to undergraduate and graduate students and supervised psychology interns. My clinical training includes work in university counseling centers, community mental health agencies (one general and one serving the LGBTQ community), a career counseling clinic, and an adolescent residential treatment center.
